According to the 2024 OSHI Entertainment Brand Value Ranking released by GEM Partners, Inc. boy group Snow Man topped the list for the second year in a row, recording 8,045 GEM.
These figures are based on an overall evaluation of the number of OSHI fans, the amount of money spent, and the number of days of contact, and indicate the significant economic effect of OSHI fans.

Snow Man” ranked first in the “OSHI Entertainment Brand Value” for the first time in almost a year – GEM Standard
The greater the number of fans and the higher the level of enthusiasm, the greater the economic impact of the entertainment brand. For example, in the case of “Snow Man,” the amount spent increased by 2.1 billion yen in October 2024 compared to the previous month, significantly raising the value of the OSHI Entertainment brand. This was due to the concentration of topics that encouraged fans to spend, such as album releases and large-scale tours in five major domes.
According to a survey on OSHI activities, 34% of 18~24 year olds spend more than 30,000 yen per month on OSHI activities, and 26% of junior high and high school students also spend more than 10,000 yen per month on OSHI activities. We steadily examined about 830 voice actors, mainly those with a large number of X-followers or those who appear regularly in the popularity ranking without X-accounts, using GEM Standard’s ” OSHI Entertainment Brand Scope.

What do you think? This ranking shows a different trend from that of the number of X followers or media exposure; it seems that voice actors with a large number of SNS followers or high media exposure (TV, etc.) do not necessarily have the largest number of fans.
When casting voice actors targeting specific voice actor fans, the number of devoted fans may be an important indicator, rather than just the number of SNS followers or a vague image of name recognition.
Also, although it is easy to imagine male voice actors as the “Oshikatsu(Geek Activities)” and tend to think that male voice actors have an advantage in attracting fans, the top male-to-female ratio in the ranking was almost 50-50. Unlike preconceived notions, this was a very interesting result.
