History connected to “Medalist”

The relationship between “Medalist” author Ms.Tsurumaikada and voice actress Natsumi Haruse began as that of a fan and an admired voice actor, and evolved into the shocking story of an anime adaptation author and lead voice actor.

February 22, 2012: Natsumi Haruse will appear in the Idolmaster series

On this day, February 22, 2012, Natsumi Haruse was announced as Kaoru Ryuzaki in “THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS”.

2015: THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS becomes an anime.

Although we are currently unable to confirm the post by Ms.Tsurumaikada herself, it seems that the anime adaptation of Idol Master Cinderella Girls (a.k.a. Delemass) was the catalyst for her fascination with the voice and character of Kaoru Ryuzaki, and from there she became a fan of Natsumi Haruse.
Still a company employee at the time, Ms.Tsurumaikada was attracted to Natsumi Haruse’s work as a voice actor and began sending her frequent fan letters.

2018: Decision to become a manga artist

At the “Instant Newcomer Award in COMITIA123” held on February 11, 2018, the work entitled “Nakiyami” will receive the Excellence Award selected by the “Afternoon” editorial department.
This opens the way for Ms.Tsurumaikada to become a manga artist, and he decides to quit his job.
Around this time, he wrote in a fan letter to Natsumi Haruse, “I will quit the company and become a manga artist. It is my dream to have Ms. Haruse do voice acting for my anime”.
