Japanese Voice Actors with the Exact Same Name in English!
While writing an article in English for SeiyuJournal, I noticed one day that there are voice actors with the same name who have different kanji names but the same name when converted to English.
Among the voice actors belonging to voice-over agencies, there were four pairs with the same name.

Shigeru Chiba(千葉繁) is a member of 81 Produce and Shigeru Chiba(千葉茂) is a member of Haikyo(Tokyo Actor’s Consumer’s Cooperative Society), which has many voice actors! They are about 3 years apart in age, but both are active in their respective fields, one as a voice actor and the other as an actor.
Mr. Shigeru Chiba(千葉繁), a veteran voice actor, often plays characters with strong personalities that are unforgettable once you hear them, such as Baggy of ONE PIECE and Jogo of Jujutsu Kaisen. Shigeru Chiba(千葉茂), on the other hand, has a warm voice, and even though they share the same name, each has a unique voice! Both of them have relatively high voices. Yui Nakajima(中島唯), a member of Mouse Promotion, made her debut as Kanaka Amaya in the anime “Aiura”. She has also appeared as Hime Nonohara in the game “Tokyo 7th Sisters” and Ayaka Saotome in “Ongeki”.
And Yui Nakajima(中島優衣), who has a business partnership with Amuleto! She has played the role of Akino Kanzaki in “My Sister,My Writer.” Although she has now graduated, she has also worked as an idol and performs live as an OG of the female idol group “Idol College”.
Of course, both of them have nice voices, but 中島唯‘s voice is more mid-pitched and 中島優衣‘s voice is more higher-pitched!
