Education x Entertainment: List of voice actors with teaching licenses!
Voice actors are professionals in the language! In fact, there are many voice actors who hold Japanese language teaching licenses.
There are a wide variety of subjects in Japanese junior high and high schools, each of which requires a specialized teaching license. In junior high school, there are 9 subjects, and in high school, there are 13 major subjects.
Among them, we have found many voice teachers with Japanese language licenses!

Educational Activities
Mr. Cho appeared in a program for third-grade elementary school students called “Tanken Bokoku no Machi” (Tanken: My Town), which was broadcast on NHK Educational TV (now E-television) from 1984 to 1992. In this program, she played the role of “Cho-san,” a grocery store clerk, who made maps of what he researched during deliveries.
He is still involved in educational programs for infants and toddlers as Wan Wan in “Inai Inai Baaa!”.

Educational Activities
Kikuko Inoue is also active in the field of education, utilizing her experience as a voice actress.
- Career education lecturer: On October 27, 2023, Kikuko Inoue served as a lecturer for “Career Education by Voice Actor” at Mirai Gakuen Middle School of Ota Ward Misono Junior High School (special exception school for non-attending schools).
- Reading activity: During the above school visit, I read “The Spider’s Thread” by Ryunosuke Akutagawa to convey the appeal of literary works.
- Teaching expressive skills: We taught the students the importance of expressive skills through an activity in which they had to apply their voices to illustrations they had drawn.
- Guidance on dramatic reading: Students performed a dramatic reading with the students to teach them practical voice expression techniques.
- Career guidance: We talked about voice acting jobs and the industry, and taught students the importance of having dreams and hopes for the future.
Through these activities, Kikuko Inoue is using her experience as a voice actress to contribute to educational activities that convey to the younger generation the joy of reading, the importance of expression, and hope for the future.
