It is probably fair to say that there is almost nothing in the Japanese content industry that is not anthropomorphic.
In this article, we have compiled our own Google Map of the voice actors for the lighthouse characters in “Akari no moribito,” a work that anthropomorphizes lighthouses, and the locations where these lighthouses are located.
Since it is a lighthouse, the destination may be near the sea, perhaps an island, but how about it as one of the destinations for your guesswork trip to the various regions of Japan?
You may be able to see the history, stories, and other cultural aspects hidden in lighthouses!

Vol. 52 Himesaki Lighthouse (Sado City, Niigata Prefecture)/CV: Atsushi Kisaichi

(Quote) Lighthouse personification! The 52nd “Akari no moribito” voice drama, Himesaki Lighthouse version (CV: Atsushi Kisaichi), will be premiered on August 30, 2012 on Nico Nico Live Broadcast!
World Eggs, Inc. (HQ: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Katsunori Namifusa) is working on the “Akari no moribito” project to anthropomorphize lighthouses across Japan and create their historical and cultural values through stories.
As one of the activities, we have created a voice drama “Fantasy Night Tales” that unravels the history and stories hidden in lighthouses and distributes it on various audio content platforms (YouTube, Nico Nico Douga, Pica Pica, Voicy, Nankai Broadcasting System Radio, and interfm).
The 52nd installment features a new guardian(moribito) of Himesaki Lighthouse (Sado City, Niigata Prefecture), played by Atsushi Kisaichi, and was released on August 30, 2012.

Himesaki Lighthouse is located in Sado City, Niigata Prefecture, and was first lit in 1895. It is the oldest iron-built lighthouse in Japan and is registered as a permanent cultural heritage. It also serves as an important navigational base for vessels navigating the “Koshisa Strait” between Sado and Niigata. The surrounding area is designated as Sado Yahiko Yoneyama National Park, and the whole area is famous for rock fishing and offers a scenic view of the Sea of Japan. On clear nights, the area is also a popular tourist spot for photographing lighthouses that illuminate the star-filled sky.

Check out GoogleMap to find out which lighthouses are manned by popular voice actors such as Ryutaro Okiayu, Daisuke Kishio, and Hikaru Midorikawa!
