This time, we will pick three from fall anime that start next month October, some of which feature yokai and strangeness monsers!
TV anime “DAN DADAN”
Description: Momo (Momo Ayase), a high school girl born into a family of mediums, and her classmate Okarun (Ken Takakura), an occult fanatic. Momo saved Okarun from a class bully and the two began talking, but Momo, who “believes in ghosts but is an alien denier,” and Okarun, who “believes in aliens but is a ghost denier,” get into an argument.

Highlights: The voice of the Yokai Turbo-Granny is Mayumi Tanaka, well-known for her portrayal of Monkey D. Luffy in “ONE PIECE”, and the voice of the alien Rokuro Serpo is Kazuya Nakai, also well-known for his portrayal of Loronoa Zoro! We are looking forward to seeing the voice of the too-strong monster!

TV anime “A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School!(Yōkai Gakkō no Sensei Hajimemashita!)”
Description: Haruaki Abe is a timid and whiny new teacher. He is happy to be the teacher he has always wanted to be! He is assigned to Hyakki Gakuen, a school for only yokai, by yokai and for yokai only! What is the reason why the headmaster hired Seimei, a timid, lazy, and human teacher, ……? This is a hilarious, poignant, and spectral school comedy that depicts the strange and lively daily lives of the quirky human teacher, Haruaki, and his students and teachers, who are all jam-packed with personality! Class begins!

TV animation “Natsume’s Book of Friends Shichi” (7th season)
Description: Takashi Natsume, a boy who has been able to see yokai since he was a child, inherits his grandmother Reiko’s legacy “Book of Friends” and spends his days returning names to the yokai whose names are tied to it, together with his self-proclaimed bouncer, Nyanko-sensei. Natsume begins to search for her own path through contact with the Yokai and the people involved, and with the help of her friends who share her feelings, she tries to find a way to protect her precious days.

Highlights: When I first came across this work and first heard Kazuhiko Inoue’s voice playing the different roles of Nyanko-sensei and Madara, I was truly amazed at the craftsmanship of the voice actors.
It is a must-listen for all mankind as it is a wonderful work that will continue until the 7th season!
