The Saudi Arabian government has announced the construction of a theme park based on the popular Japanese manga “Dragon Ball. This project is the result of a strategic partnership between Toei Animation and an investment company wholly owned by the Saudi Arabian government.

SAUDI ANIME EXPO 2019, held for the first time in 2019, was held from Thursday, November 14 to Saturday, November 16, 2019. 37,800 visitors came to the exhibition over the three days, exceeding expectations and closing with great success.
The second edition, held in October 2022, brought together Japan’s leading anime content and ani-song singers, and was a great success over the three days.
