Sanrio Virtual Festival 2025, the world’s largest metaverse event organized by Sanrio, will be held from February 9 to March 9, 2025. This virtual festival will be even more powerful than the previous successful event, which attracted a total of over 4 million visitors.
Sanrio Virtual Festival 2025 Event Outline
Sanrio Virtual Festival 2025 is a new type of virtual festival that will take place in the giant space of the virtual Sanrio Puroland. The theme of this year’s event is “Collaboration,” bringing together artists, creators, and Sanrio characters in a groundbreaking event.
The event will be held on the social VR platform “VRChat,” making it one of the world’s largest virtual festivals where participants can enjoy communication with each other.
The event will feature performances by artists, collaborations with popular communities, and a new addition to the popular annual virtual parade.

The fusion of Sanrio characters, animation, voice actors, and the latest VR technology will provide participants with an unprecedented immersive experience.
MetaMe®, a meta-communication service born out of NTT DOCOMO’s new business creation program “docomo STARTUP ®,” will arrange some of the artist performances from “Sanrio Virtual Festival 2025” as 3D content The event will open on February 16, 2025 (Sunday), allowing easy participation from smartphones and PCs.
